Today (Saturday 28th August 2010) just after 0612hrs our network team noticed errors starting to occur on our primary firewall server. Before any corrective measures could be taken the primary firewall failed. Our network team have been working since to return this firewall to service which they have now completed. We will be looking at replacing this firewall within the next few days but will give the normal notice to all our customers. We are really sorry for any issues that this has caused...

We have today been informed by a number of customers that they are receiving a large number of duplicate e-Mails from a select few companies such as ASDA, Homebase and Vue. We have investigated this and can see that these e-Mails are being sent from the originating companies and we have taken steps to stop these e-Mails from being delivered. During the course of the day we have been noticing an increasing number of issues with one of our mail servers (avon.redithosting.co.uk). Any customer that has e-Mail accounts located on this server may have noticed periods on intermittent or no connection to this server. We believe that this is due to a problem with the application software that is running the POP3 and IMAP services, we have been trying to fix this issue during the course of the day but without success.
